We exist to nurture the relationship between students and God. We believe that Jr. and Sr. High schoolers are incredibly important to build into—and that they are a significant part of the church and community at large. Our hope is that in the years that we have students in our ministry, we can create an environment that allows them to recognize that they are valued and loved by God, and will feel empowered to share Christ's message of grace and peace with the world. Students meet after our Sunday 9:15 am service and on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm.
We exist to inspire curiosity and wonder about God and provide a place for kids to belong. When the family and church work together, your child can discover more about God and come to know God in an intimate way. Early childhood formation happens after of our Sunday 9:15 am service, and we have family events throughout the year.
High School Students and Adults of all ages are welcome without audition. Rehearsals are
mid-September through April on Wednesday Evenings, 7:00-9:00 pm, in the Music Room of the Willis Ministry Center.
Acolytes are ministers of worship at St. Mark's Church, in second grade and higher, and adults who serve at the altar with clergy during worship. An acolyte assists the priest in worship and carries out certain duties, including candle lighting; carrying the processional cross; holding or getting items the pastor needs at baptisms, Holy Communion, and other worship acts.
Ushers & Greeters
The goal of this ministry is to make all who join us for worship feel welcome from the moment they enter the doors.
Ushers and Greeters serve in the narthex welcoming guests, or in the sanctuary helping seat people and facilitating the offering and communion.
The purpose of the St. Mark's Episcopal Church Altar Guild is to assist the clergy by preparing the Sanctuary for all the services and caring for the Holy Hardware and Vestments.
The St. Mark's Altar Guild is ever mindful of the joy and privilege it is to serve God in His Sanctuary.
